Oh! What a beautiful day!

On Saturday June 11, 2005, Pete and Mo went to see the mountain play at the ancient amphitheater at the top of Mount Tam. The production was Oaklahoma. We rode our mountain bikes up to the top with a picnic in our backpacks. After the show, we rode the trails back to town.

Mo, after the long (long, long, hot, long) ride up the mountain to the Mountain Theater at the tippy top of Mt. Tamalpais. I'm actually not drunk here--don't know what this look is about.

Mo and Pete, and thousands (ok, hundreds) of their closest friends.

Try as I might, I just couldn't get all of him into the frame all at the same time. We tried 6-7 times, this was as good as it got. (It's appropriate--he does tend to lose his head....) It is bigger and more difficult than it looks.
