While Rolf is an example of paired spoke wheels, they are not the only one. Rolf does own patents, United States Patent 20030057763.
Other examples of this more extreme pattern exist on Shimano as well as other wheels.
Some examples of paired spoke wheels are not sold in North America. Alex
Velocity Fusion, Aero Heat or Deep V should be available with paired style drilling.
