The Drama

A new road bike for me. My first new road bike in about 12 years. I wanted the bike to be modern, perform, and look fantastic. It looks fast standing still!

Sadly, two dramatic events went into the slow and painful course of this build. Firstly, I broke the first rev on the alignment table. Second, and more importantly, my wife decided to divorce me during this time. It was hard to focus on much and added a bunch of time to the build. Gladly, we are both still friends.

Broke the frame on the alignment table. This was due to drilling the waterbottle holes before aligning. I would not have done this, but I was killing some time while dealing with a different issue.

Above, you can see some flux that was missed. That's what you get when you bargain shop paint.
