Old fashioned cable stops and guides are a serious problem on modern mountain bikes. The use of hydraulic brakes and continous length deraillure housings make the old fashioned type not only useless, but dangerous.

Old fashioned cable stops and guides are a serious problem on modern mountain bikes. The use of hydraulic brakes and continous length deraillure housings make the old fashioned type not only useless, but dangerous.

Removing the guides
