3rd Annual Tamarancho Chainless Classic

2pm. Saturday, July 30th, 2016.

$20. Cheap! Several classes: Men, Women, Juniors, and kids

Race your friends. Talk trash. Post a time. Glory!

REGISTRATION!

A waiver will need to be signed prior to the race start. All minors will need a parent/guardian to co-sign.

This is the easiest and most fun race you can do. Go for a ride at Camp Tamarancho BSA or out of Fairfax. Show up at the top of the trail before 2pm. Stage for a run. Our live timing lets us know who is leading as the race progresses.

This is your chance to race the only gravity bike race in Marin. Get an official time to compare yourself against others.

The current record time on the course is:

2:35.913 for men by Marco Osborne (2014)
2:59.820 for women by Rachel Lloyd (2014)

The course has changed slightly so we don’t know if things are running faster or slower.

The course: From the start ramp at the top of the Endor Flow Trail to the bottom at Dead Heifer.

Bikes: Any bike you like as long as the chain will be removed for your run. Assistance will be provided removing and installing chains. Make sure to have a quick link with you if your chain doesn’t already have one.

No eBikes! This is not a motorcycle race.
